Joining forces to maximise production
Further milestones were reached with the design of fabulous new models, and the Company sometimes joining forces with other motor industry giants, to maximise production. Over the years, names such as Austin Healy and Austin Morris tripped off the tongue not only of motoring enthusiasts but of those for whom perhaps owning a car one day still remained a dream. Austin’s influence was also apparent in the design of other cars produced by now globally recognised companies, such as BMW, Nissan and others.
